Action
Teranga is a non profit organization founded by members of the
Senegalese Diaspora and American citizens in order to help foster
a greater future for those left behind in Senegal and Africa as a whole.Lately,
we have expanded our intervention to the whole country in order to make all Senegalese benefit from our initiatives.
Our Health Project:
Our latest project focuses on improving the healthcare system in Africa. Three hospitals in Washington DC and Medline, a major US medical supplier have generously agreed to donate to Action Teranga their entire surplus. These two incredibly bighearted acts will greatly contribute to our goal of helping the African people have access to adequate medical equipments and supplies.
We have the daunting task of getting the supplies and equipments to Africa. We are working with the Senegalese Diaspora at large and with private donors to raise funds for that purpose. However we would like to get assistance from government officials to facilitate the transport and delivery of the supplies. We have only a limited time to raise funds to cover all the expenses of sending the supplies and equipment to their destinations

Who
benefits?
Many African people will greatly benefit from the numerous supplies
and medical equipments as they are distributed across the Continent.
Doctors and health professionals will be able to better perform
their noble duties with the help of state of the art equipment
until now, unavailable to many developing countries in Africa.
Action Teranga among other activities, works by collecting the
surplus medical supplies or equipment from hospitals throughout
the US and and ship them to Africa for the great benefit of the
numerous hospitals and clinics that sometimes lack the basic medical
equipments to operate at an acceptable standard.
